Shane Warne's quarrel against Rajasthan Cricket Association's secretary Sanjay Dixit after the defeat to Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) has not gone down well with his team Rajasthan Royals (RR). They are to take disciplinary action against him. Rajasthan Royals CEO Sean Morris, said that Warne has apologized for his actions. An internal disciplinary panel was convened at the earliest opportunity and met with Shane Warne to review his comments made to the prize giving. He mentioned that, the player has accepted the action that they have taken and apologized for any distress caused.
Warne is to be banned for a match and fined an undisclosed amount. The RCA's legal committee is likely to let the Warne issue rest. The committee is also set to give a go ahead for criminal proceedings against commentator Dean Jones. The former Aussie batsman had told a Tv channel that RCA should lick Warne's feet.
