CSK beat RR by 8 wickets

Chennai Super Kings showed they are really too good at home as they made 5 in-a-row and took their points tally to 12 as they had won a match against Pune Warriors on Wednesday. Skipper MS Dhoni's excellent handling of the bowling controlled Rajasthan Royals' flow of runs. Dhoni bowled the spinners out at the right time and when Ross Taylor looked to take charge, he stopped him from his ferocious sweep. 148 was a fighting total, but Suresh Raina (61 in 51 balls) and Mike Hussey (79 in 55 balls) made their innings to take CSK through.

They picked Nayan Doshi in the 11th over when CSK needed about 7.5 for every over. Hussey and Raina played two shots over midwicket and both went for boundaries. CSK wrapped it up with 8 balls to spare. Chennai Super Kings' Suresh Raina plays a shot during his match-winning of 61 against Royals.
